Sydney based stained glass designer and glass painter Lance Feeney
has been designing and making stained glass windows for churches,
cathedrals, private schools, foyers and homes since 1975. He works
across a range of styles on large scale contemporary architectural
stained glass projects as well as traditional figurative stained
glass commissions for churches and religious buildings. In his
spare time, he makes studio art glass and designs gardens.

Stained glass training and studio
Lance Feeney studied stained glass design and stained glass painting
at tertiary level during the 1970's - in the United Kingdom, Europe
and Australia. He was tutored by renowned British, European, Irish
and US stained glass designers and artists. He currently directs
a group of experienced craftspeople, who work together to produce

Stained glass projects
Stained glass projects include: cathedrals, churches, private
schools, commercial buildings and private homes. A range of styles
have been worked across to harmonise with the architecture, the
building’s purpose, and our clients directives. Site specific
stained glass windows, leadlight feature walls, doors, screens,
stained glass ceilings and domes, sculptural installations and
decorative sculptural objects, have been commissioned, and produced

Stained glass techniques
We use a range of techniques to make our stained glass projects
including: leaded glass (leadlight), glass appliqué (layers
of glass held together using UV resistant epoxy resins), glass
painting, silver staining, enameling, acid-etching, sandblasting,
engraving, kiln fired and slumped glass, and glass blowing. All
work is manufactured to the highest standard, using premium quality
materials and proven traditional techniques.
